The Moon Quilt

Synopsis: It's a lovely June day and the old woman is sitting on the porch with her cat. She has fallen asleep and is dreaming of her husband who was lost at sea. When she awakens she is smiling, and goes directly to work on a quilt depicting her dream. As the season turns, and the moon waxes and wanes, the quilt grows beneath her needle, recording life as it flows around her. When at last the quilt is finished, she falls asleep and joins her husband in his boat, sailing past the moon.
