BLOCK OF THE MONTH

Elaine Bullard is the Block of the Month Hostess. Look here and in the newsletter for the details on each month's blocks.
There are only 5 simple steps:
1) Block instructions and color choices for each monthly meeting will be in the previous month's newsletter. That is, the block name and guidelines below will be in the current month's newsletter, and are to be turned in at the following month's meeting. The blocks below show the month in which to turn them in.
2) Make them in sets of 2 (they don't have to be identical), following the color scheme stated in the newsletter, and turn in your blocks to the BOM Committee Chair before each meeting.
3) You will receive one ticket for each block you turn in, as long as you turn in pairs of blocks. 1 block from each pair will be set aside for  the Charity Bee to make a quilt for any and all of the guild's supported charities which are  Boys & Girls Country, Nora's Home, Be An Angel, Bethesda Lutheran Homes, Teen Life Center, Cy-Fair Helping hands, Salvation Army Windfern Congregation, and the other will be set aside for the drawing.
4) The drawing will be held at the end of the meeting for the duplicate blocks turned in, and depending on how many blocks are turned in, we may have more than one winner.
5) Be sure to do your best work. Please use quilt shop quality fabric and scant quarter inch seam.  We all want great blocks for our quilts!
